Tyson James

Owner/ Head Trainer


Tyson has always had a passion for fitness. He believes that one biggest reward is seeing people achieve there goals and what better way to do this but with a community of people supporting each other fitness journey at One Heart.

Tyson has been involved in the health and fitness industry for over 11 years. As well as owning One Heart Pilates Tyson has worked in some of the biggest gym in Australia teaching high levels of group fitness classes as well as online group classes. Tyson also loves working one on one with client and specialises in weight loss, toning, rehabilitation and sports Specific goals.
Tyson fitness career also brought him to live in London where he worked for one of largest Pilates Reformer Studios in Europe “Ten Pilates”. This is where is passion for Pilates started and where he studied Pilates to become a leader is this field.

Tyson spent many years as a professional dancer working in Musical Productions and also as Production Manager on Cruise Ships around the world. He understands the importance of health and peak training. He strives to give his clients the highest level of education in nutrition and personal support.

Tyson has also worked with a wide demographic of people helping them achieve their goals. Tyson has also work with pre and post pregnancies women as well as individuals who suffer with lower back pain and bad posture. So you can be assured that you are in safe hand to be push to you limits (and trust he will push you ) but in a safest and most functional way.

The main thing Tyson believe is that exercise is ment to be fun and every time you come to one of his classes or Personal training sessions you will leave feeling happier stronger and fitter.

Peta Geake

Pilates instructor


Peta is wife to long time husband of 10 years Joel. They have 2 beautiful children together Harmony,7 & Lyric,5.

As a family they enjoy holidays at the beach, camping and bike riding. Peta has been teaching mat & Reformer pilates classes for 11 years.


With certification in pregnancy, mat and Reformer pilates along with her certificate 3 in group fitness. Peta enjoys the community feel with group fitness classes, getting to know her clients on a personal level makes the classes feel like your catching up with friends while training out.


After giving birth to her 2 children has given Peta more understanding of what is required for women to have a strong core and pelvic floor muscle to help with the pregnancy & delivery of baby.

Peta has a true passion in helping clients obtain correct alignment and technique while teaching clients elements of pilates philosophy. Peta believes by the words of Jospeh Pilates " If your spine is inflexibly stiff at 30, your old. If it is completely flexible at 60, you are young"

Roz Yee

Yoga instructor


Roz first discovered yoga in 2006 at the gym as a way to stretch within her fitness regime.  But it wasn't until 2014 that she made the commitment towards a regular weekly yoga practice. 

What started off as a physical means for her to relax, eventually transformed into a greater awareness of the mind and body both on and off the mat. 

In May 2018, after 5 years of continuous and dedicated practice, Roz took her yoga journey to another level and greater depth, and completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training with Creature Yoga in Byron Bay.


Having previously worked in the hotel, travel & real estate industries, in various accountant and administration capacities, Roz is pretty excited to be away from the corporate world for now and be on a path that allows her to teach and share a passion that has changed her life. 

As a teacher and forever a student, Roz enjoys guiding and practising vinyasa, yin and restorative styles of yoga.  Expect her classes to be a melody of strength, movement, mindfulness, softness and hopefully fun!
